Whitley Streiber Says 'They're Coming !'

It is possible that the visitors are about to show up. I am not saying that this will happen, but only that this is a time when it could happen, and there are some indications that it may be about to happen.
The indications are these: First, the large number of UFO sightings around the world, capped most recently by a report that there is an active UFO on the ground in southern Somalia. Is this report true? So far, it has not been possible to follow up, and probably the only way to get confirmation would be from a US military satellite, and we can forget that. Second, the sudden upsurge in official and semi-official statements, with the latest being Gov. Fife Symington's reiteration on Good Morning America this morning that he had seen a UFO.

So, all of the activity and public pronouncement suggest change. Interestingly, conditions within our society suggest that a basis of rational response to contact that has not been present in the past is present now. For example, this website now reaches a million people every month with its sophisticated and sensible view of the UFO and close encounter phenomena. Even five years ago, nothing like it existed. Public reaction to UFOs is now muted. The appearance of even extensive UFO activity in a given area does not cause panic or sensational press response. They are more-or-less taken for granted as a relatively benign mystery of interest to some but not most people.

This is a profile that is conducive to a more productive form of contact than has been possible in the past. It will not be the way the world at first presents itself to the visitors, but it is there, and behind it there lies the potential for a rational response.

At first, the media will likely go to all the wrong authorities: to scientists who know nothing of the history of the phenomenon and will look upon whatever is happening now as the beginning of a process of contact and not what it is, which is the culmination of many years of effort; to religious leaders who will contend that their own beliefs must be reflected in the culture of the visitors, and, if not, that they are somehow fallen, or 'not saved' or otherwise ignorant; to government officials who might make false claims about what has happened in the past; and to various UFO researchers, probably the ones with the most sensationalistic theories, or who assert their leadership most forcefully, and are therefore ego-driven and least capable.

Later, though, cooler heads will hopefully prevail, and we will begin to explore how contact can help us. Initially, this will be a matter of looking back over the past 60 years at a higher level of scientific analysis, and seeing what it has already left behind that can be of use to us. Then learning to communicate with the visitors, which will involve using our minds in a new way, and accepting that such things as what we call 'telepathy' are merely aspects of nature and perfectly detectable and measurable.

It will take human culture many years to evolve an efficient organ of communication and exchange with them, and they will not be in a hurry. There will turn out to be people, as it were, hidden away in our socieities all over the world who have already been prepared and will together provide a useful beginning.

This will unfold outside of the context of current religious and governmental structures. The planet is dying, which is why the visitors are showing up now, to try to offer us a new perspective. They will not lay out a plan of action. But observing their presence, the knowledge they have left behind already, and whatever messages we can glean from early attempts at communication, will provide us with a rich new source of ideas.

Depending on how serious our situation actually is, they may intervene in the cultural milieu in some very surprising ways, by taking specific action to deflect or curtail the activities of those most unwilling to try to live in a way that will sustain the planet's functioning long term. If that happens, then we will see interventions that will cause a good deal of consternation, although I cannot even begin to guess the exact form they may take.

They will not at first address the species' various religious ideas except in very general terms, by communicating with us in triads, with a positive thrust and a negative thrust, leaving us to evolve the message by reconciling its two parts. I know that this is very, very different from the way we commuicate, but it works and if they do show up it will become familiar enough.

Face-to-face communication, if the experience of close encounter witnesses so far is any example, will be extremely varied. Not only will there be many different physical forms involved, they will be presenting us with sometimes radically different views of the way they should approach us.

Imagine what it would be like on another planet if human spacefarers showed up, some from the US, others from Brazil, others from Borneo, from France, from India and China, and you can get a very minor idea of what this will be like.

What we are apt to see are many different variants of known forms as well as some we have never seen, or hardly seen, and some of these will be quite frightening, with a combination of toughness and capabilities that will make it very hard to face them. But not impossible.

I did it alone in the woods in the middle of the night, so it certainly can be done.

There are also going to be more human forms. It turns out that physical evolution follows similar patterns on worlds with similar mineral content and similar stars. There is something about the stars themselves that determines what sort of creature will evolve on their planets, and so the mix of forms is tremendous, but also strangely familiar, and, in some cases, shockingly so.

People ask me what I will do under the circumstances of contact. I already know my role, very precisely. I will not volunteer myself, but I do have a lot of knowledge that will be freely available to anybody who asks. I am not ego-driven, in the sense that I will want to take some place that I might think I deserve.

In this, we are all equal. Nobody knows much more than another and nobody deserves any special place in regard to the contact process. Those who seek to impose their presence between the visitors and the rest of us will find that they have made a grave mistake, in that they will be among the first human beings called to task for violating laws created elsewhere, that now also pertain to us.

What I will be eager to do is to help evolve effective human institutions of contact. These will be scientific and cultural. In my work on this subject in fiction and in the movies, I am already struggling with the cultural aspect. I am not trying to use fiction to disguise what I believe to be factually true, but to offer stories that are emotionally true, and give a taste of the wonder, fear and sense of question the actual experience involves.

Once contact comes, my primary work will change. It will be to offer persepective and guidance in the development of a useful scientific response to this new model of the universe, as an entity that contains a certain amount of intelligent life beyond our own, and knowledge associated with it that we can integrate into our own understanding.

This is what I have been unable to do so far, because official denial has led to a broader culture of denial within educated human circles. Right now, it is as dangerous to a scientist's career to propose that money be spent on the study of UFOs as it was in the fifteenth century for him to propose that the earth revolves around the sun.

But the earth does revolve around the sun, and when we faced that reality, we embarked upon a five hundred year journey into science that has culminated in all the magnificent knowledge we possess today.

Similarly, when science acknowledges that the visitors are real and therefore that communication with them and use of the knowledge we get from that is possible, a second, and even greater scientific revolution will unfold.

At the end of the first scientific revolution, we are sending instantaneous messages around the world, feeding billions more than we ever dreamed possible, flying, and doing so much more. It has been a triumph.

The next scientific revolution begins when the scientific community acknowledges that other intelligence is here and that it has unknown origins. When we look back from the perspective of another five hundred years, we will find that this second scientific revolution has been even more profound, and the triumph great beyond the most hopeful imaginings of today.

Oxygen Healing Therapies

Medical Miracle?
Ozone and Hydrogen Peroxide in Healing

By Nathaniel Altman
Author of Oxygen Healing Therapies

Although used by an estimated ten million patients in Europe since the early 1960's, the therapeutic use of medical ozone and hydrogen peroxide (technically known as "bio-oxidative therapies") is largely a mystery to North Americans. Hailed as a safe, eff ective and low-cost treatment for a wide spectrum of diseases- including candida, cancer, heart problems and HIV-related infections- in Europe, proponents feel that they can go far in resolving America's health care crisis. However, physicians who have tr ied to utilize these therapies in this country are often harassed by local medical societies and threatened with loss of license. As a result, every year hundreds of patients have been forced to seek out physicians in Germany, Russia and even Cuba where t hese therapies are an accepted part of the medical mainstream.. Others spend tens of thousands of dollars to receive bogus ozone cures from unlicensed practitioners here and abroad who ignore established protocols. Many end their lives in both poverty and despair.

What is the truth behind bio-oxidative therapies? Are they a panacea to our health-care crisis, or are ozone and hydrogen peroxide ineffective and even dangerous to health? And despite decades of clinical success, why are they considered "experimental" an d not approved by the FDA? On the following pages, let's examine some of the major questions about bio-oxidative therapies and their role in human health care picture.

Q: Exactly what are bio-oxidative therapies?
A: Bio-oxidative therapies involve administering small amounts of diluted ozone and hydrogen peroxide into the body for the prevention and treatment of disease. Ozone therapy has been used by licensed physicians in Germany since the early 1960's, while hy drogen peroxide therapy was developed in the United States primarily by Dr. C.H. Farr, nominee for the 1993 Nobel prize in Medicine.

Q: What is the scientific basis for bio-oxidative therapies?
A: The philosophy behind bio-oxidative therapies is a simple one. The use of hydrogen peroxide and ozone in medicine is based on the belief that the accumulation of toxins in the body is normally burnt up by the process of oxidation, a process wherein a s ubstance is changed chemically because of the effect of oxygen on it. Oxidation breaks the toxins down into carbon dioxide and water, and eliminates them from the body. However, if the oxygen system of the body is weak or deficient (whether through lack o f exercise, environmental pollution, poor diet, smoking, or improper breathing), our bodies cannot eliminate them adequately and a toxic reaction can occur. In minor cases, a toxic buildup can lead to fatigue, while a wide range of diseases can result whe n poor oxygenation is chronic.

Q: Are these considered "new" therapies?
A: Although few of us have ever heard of them, bio-oxidative therapies have been around for a long time. They have been used clinically by European physicians for over a century, and were first reported by Dr. T.H. Oliver in the British medical publicatio n The Lancet in 1920.1 Since that time, they have been studied in major medical research centers throughout the world, including Baylor University, Yale University, The University of California (Los Angeles) and Harvard University in the United States, as well as in medical schools and laboratories in Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Russia, Canada, Japan and Cuba. Today, between fifty and one hundred scientific articles are published each month about the chemical and biological effects of ozone and hydroge n peroxide.

Q: How do they work?
A: Bio-oxidative therapies are used to provide the body with active forms of oxygen orally, intravenously or through the skin. Once in the body, the hydrogen peroxide or ozone breaks down into various oxygen subspecies which contact anaerobic viruses and microbes [i.e. viruses and microbes which have the ability to live without air], as well as diseased or deficient tissue cells. It oxidizes these cells while leaving the healthy cells alone. When the body becomes saturated with these special forms of oxyg en, it reaches a state of purity wherein disease microorganisms are killed, while the underlying toxicity is oxidized and eliminated.

According to Frank Shallenberger, M.D., who is best known in the United States for treating AIDS patients with a holistic protocol including ozone, bio-oxidative therapies have affect the human body in the following ways:

They stimulate the production of white blood cells, which are necessary to fight infection.

Ozone and hydrogen peroxide are anti-virucidal.

They increase oxygen and hemoglobin disassociation, thus increasing the delivery of oxygen from the blood to the cells.

Ozone and hydrogen peroxide are anti-neoplastic, which means that they inhibit the growth of new tissues like tumors.

They oxidize and degrade petrochemicals.

They increase red blood cell membrane distensibility, thus enhancing their flexibility and effectiveness.

Bio-oxidative therapies increase the production of interferon and Tumor Necrosis Factor, which the body uses to fight infections and cancers.

They increase the efficiency of the anti-oxidant enzyme system, which scavenges excess free radicals in the body.

They accelerate the Citric Acid Cycle, which is the main cycle for the liberation of energy from sugars. This then stimulates basic metabolism. It also breaks down proteins, carbohydrates and fats to be used as energy.

Bio-oxidative therapies increase tissue oxygenation, thus bringing about patient improvement.2
Q: What exactly is hydrogen peroxide and how is it used therapeutically?
A: Hydrogen peroxide (H202) is made up of two hydrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms. A powerful oxidizer, hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria, viruses and fungi; most of us have used a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide externally to disinfect wounds. Higher co ncentrations of hydrogen peroxide are used extensively in the agricultural, food and chemical industries as a disinfectant, water purifier and bleaching agent. It is also a common ingredient in contact lens cleaners, eye drops and mouthwashes.

Hydrogen peroxide is involved in all of life's vital processes, and must be present for the immune system to function properly. The cells in the body that fight infection (known as granulocytes) produce hydrogen peroxide as a first line of defense against invading organisms like parasites, viruses, bacteria and yeast. It is also required for the metabolism of protein, carbo-hydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. As a hormonal regulator, hydrogen peroxide is necessary for the body's production of estrogen, progesterone and thyroxin; it also helps regulate blood sugar and the production of energy in cells. Hydrogen peroxide has long been used medically as a disinfectant, antiseptic and oxidizer, but has only recently been found to successfully treat a wide variety of human diseases with a minimum of harmful side effects.

The most common form of hydrogen peroxide therapy used by doctors calls for small amounts of 30% reagent grade hydrogen peroxide added to purified water and administered as an intravenous drip. However, some individuals like to add a cup of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide to a bathtub of warm water; the hydrogen peroxide is absorbed into the body through the skin while the person soaks in the tub. Others drink a glass of water to which several drops of food or reagent grade hydrogen peroxide have been ad ded. Although there have been reports of improved health with this method, physicians like Dr. Farr believe that taking hydrogen peroxide orally can have a corrosive effect on the stomach and small intestine and advise against using it. 3

Q: What about ozone? How is it used medically?
A: Ozone (O3) is an energized form of oxygen with extra electrons. It forms the protective ozone layer around the planet, yet becomes a pollutant when mixed with hydrocarbons (like carbon dioxide) and nitrogen oxide from automobile and factory emissions. Because scientists have focussed on the negative effects of inhaled ozone, the medicinal aspects of the gas when applied intravenously or through the skin have been largely overlooked.

Because ozone was found to be an effective bactericide and fungicide during the mid-1800's, it was first used to purify drinking water in a number of European cities. Today, over 2000 municipalities around the world- including Montreal, Paris, Los Angeles and Moscow- purify their drinking water with ozone. However, ozone was not used medically until 1915, when it was found to be an effective disinfectant of wounds and skin diseases in Germany during the First World War. It was later found that ozone has t he ability to "blast" holes through the membranes of viruses, yeasts, bacteria and abnormal tissue cells and therefore killing them. Ozone was the focus of considerable research in Germany during the 1930's where it was successfully used to treat patients suffering from inflammatory bowel disorders, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease and chronic bacterial diarrhea. The four primary ways to administer medical ozone include:

Autohemotherapy, which involves removing about one half pint of blood from the patient, adding ozone and oxygen to the blood, and infusing the blood back to the patient.
Rectal insufflation, in which ozone and oxygen is administered as a rectal enema. The ozone/oxygen mixture is then absorbed through the large intestine.
Ozone "bagging", which involves having an airtight bag placed around the area to be treated. A mixture of ozone and oxygen is pumped into the bag and absorbed through the skin.
Ozone is also used externally in the form of ozonated olive or sunflower oil.
Q; What types of diseases can be treated with ozone and hydrogen peroxide?
A: Bio-oxidative therapies offer a tremendous range of medical application. According to the International Bio-Oxidative Medical Foundation (IBOMF), an Oklahoma-based organization devoted to research and education about these therapies, the following cond itions or diseases have been treated with ozone and hydrogen peroxide with varying degrees of success:

Heart and Blood Vessel Diseases

Peripheral vascular disease (poor circulation)
Cerebral vascular disease (stroke and memory loss)
Cardiovascular disease (heart disease)
Coronary spasm (angina)
Cardioconversion (heart stopped)
Cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat)
Gangrene (of fingers and toes)
Raynaud's disease ("white finger")
Temporal arteritis (inflammation of the temporal artery)
Vascular and cluster headaches
Pulmonary Diseases

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Bronchiectasis (dilatation of bronchus or bronchi)
Pneumocystis carinii (PCP or AIDS-related pneumonia)
Chronic bronchitis
Infectious Diseases

Herpes zoster (shingles)
Herpes simplex (fever blister)
Systemic chronic candidiasis (candida)
Epstein-Barr virus (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome)
HIV-related infections
Acute and chronic viral infections
Chronic unresponsive bacterial infections
Parasitic infections
Immune Disorders

Multiple sclerosis
Rheumatoid arthritis
Diabetes mellitus Type II
Hypersensitive reactions (environmental and universal reactors)
Other Diseases

Parkinson's Disease
Alzheimer's Disease
Migraine headaches
Chronic pain syndromes (due to multiple causes)
Pain of metastatic carcinoma
Cancers of the blood and lymph nodes 4
Q: Is it true that ozone cures AIDS?
A: There is growing evidence that ozone (as well as hydrogen peroxide, since ozone becomes transformed into hydrogen peroxide in the body) can destroy lipid-enveloped viruses both outside and within the body, including those related to hepatitis, Epstein -Barr, cancer, herpes, cytomegalovirus and HIV. The results of a study coordinated by the Canadian Armed Forces and published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal showed that ozone kills HIV, the hepatitis and herpes viruses, and other harmful agen ts in the blood used for transfusion. The author of the article added, "The systemic use of ozone in the treatment of AIDS could not only reduce the virus load, but also possibly revitalize the immune system." 5 Although a related study on AIDS patients p roved inconclusive, Cmdr. Michael Shannon, MD, one of the coordinators of the study, wrote that "Of interest, however, the three patients (out of ten volunteers) who responded to minor autohemotherapy in the first trial, are still alive after four years p ost treatment, with CD4 counts in excess of two hundred. These patients should have theoretically succumbed to AIDS within a year post-treatment."6 In several clinics in Germany, AIDS patients are being treated successfully with different types of ozone t herapies, including rectal insufflation, ozone bagging, and autohemotherapy.

Bio-oxidative therapies can be an important part of holistic treatment for HIV-related problems, including lower T-cell counts, opportunistic infections, and AIDS-related diarrhea. Dan's was one such case. He was diagnosed HIV-positive and his T-cell coun t had dropped below 600. After only one month of ozone therapy as part of a protocol including vitamin supplements, anti-viral compounds and intestinal cleansing, his T-cell count rose to 900 and his swollen lymph nodes shrank for the first time in years.

Although there have been other cases of improvement of AIDS patients after regular ozone treatments (and several documented cases of people who were HIV+ reverting to HIV- status) ozone and hydrogen peroxide should not be considered as a "magic bullet" ag ainst HIV and AIDS. According to Frank Shallenberger, M.D. "Ozone therapy works in AIDS by acting as a an immune system modulator. In this capacity, it is very effective, safe, inexpensive and readily available. Proper therapy for AIDS will be directed at early intervention (i.e. CD4 count > 300), ozone plus other synergistic immune-augmented therapy, intestinal cleansing is paramount due to the immuno-suppressive aspect of parasites.7

Dr. Silvia Menendez, the co-founder of Cuba's Department of Ozone Department (part of the prestigious National Center for Scientific Research in Havana), suggested that ozone works best when administered as soon as possible after HIV infection, before the virus has penetrated the lymphatic system and bone marrow. The personal, economic and social ramifications of this possibility cannot be underestimated.

Q: Are these therapies safe?
A: Although ozone and hydrogen peroxide are highly toxic in their purified state, they have been found to be both safe and effective when diluted to therapeutic levels for medical use. When administered in prescribed amounts by a qualified practitioner, t he chances of experiencing adverse reactions to bio-oxidative therapies are extremely small. For example, a German study on 384,775 patients evaluating the adverse side effects of over five million medically-administered ozone treatments found that the ra te of adverse side effects was only 0.0007 per application. This figure is far lower than any other type of medical therapy.8

It has been estimated that over ten million people (primarily in Germany, Russia and Cuba) have been given bio-oxidative therapies over the past seventy years to treat over fifty different diseases. As cited before, they include heart and blood vessel dis eases, diseases of the lungs, infectious diseases, and immune-related disorders. In some cases, bio-oxidative therapies are administered alone, while in others, they are used in addition to traditional medical procedures (such as surgery or chemotherapy) or as adjuncts to alternative health practices like megavitamin therapy, acupuncture or herbal medicine.

Q: If these therapies are so great, why aren't they used more widely in Canada and The USA?
A: Despite the fact that both ozone and hydrogen peroxide therapy have been proven in clinical trials (and in regular clinical practice) to be safe and effective in Germany, Austria, Cuba, Mexico, Italy and Russia, very few people have heard about bio-ox idative therapies in the United States and Canada. Although an estimated 15,000 European practitioners legally use bio-oxidative therapies in their practices, the number of physicians using these therapies in North America is probably fewer than 500. This is partly due to the fact that information about medical ozone and hydrogen peroxide is not provided in medical schools, and students simply do not learn about them. In addition, the medical establishment (and especially provincial and state medical boar ds) often discourages or prevents licensed physicians from using them in their medical practice. Some, like Dr. Robert Atkins, M.D., the author of the popular book Dr. Atkins' Diet Revolution, have been threatened with having their licenses revoked if th ey administer hydrogen peroxide or ozone. Clinics have been closed down and practitioners have been threatened with jail.

Q: Why is there so much prejudice against these therapies by the medical establishment?
A: A major reason for this lack of interest in bio-oxidative therapies is that ozone and hydrogen peroxide are non-patentable substances that are very inexpensive to manufacture and use. In Germany, Russia and Cuba, physicians have successfully treated m any serious and chronic conditions (including cancer and heart disease) without expensive surgery. The net cost of the materials for a treatment of autohemotherapy or a medical infusion of hydrogen peroxide is under $10. Even though physicians must includ e professional fees and the use of their offices and equipment, bio-oxidative therapies administered in a medical setting cost up to fifty percent less than traditional therapies, especially for patients suffering from chronic and degenerative diseases. Self-administered treatments by patients themselves, while not recommended, can cost far less. For these reasons, ozone and hydrogen peroxide pose a threat to the continued dominance of the medical establishment: the pharmaceutical industry, medical cente rs and physicians who are accustomed to providing expensive drugs, complex medical procedures and long hospital stays.

Q: But why don't agencies like the FDA and Health and Welfare Canada encourage clinical trials on these therapies?
A: Because government health agencies are often influenced by the pharmaceutical industry and medical lobbies, objective investigation and development of effective protocols for bio-oxidative therapies have been difficult to undertake. However, the Canadi an government has shown a greater willingness to investigate these therapies than American government agencies like the FDA or NIH, as shown by the HIV studies cited earlier. However, like the American press, the Canadian media largely ignored the importa nt findings that ozone can completely remove HIV, hepatitis and herpes viruses from the blood supply.

Q: What is the future of bio-oxidative therapies?
A: After reviewing the laboratory and clinical evidence regarding the use of ozone and hydrogen peroxide, a recent report by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on Alternative Medical Systems and Practices in the United States has recommended that "de finitive studies be undertaken to determine whether these treatments have any utility".10 At the same time, a number of states- including New York and North Carolina- have recently passed "freedom of medicine" laws which allow the use of experimental th erapies by licensed practitioners. Many physicians who are members of IBOMF from both Canada and the United States are sharing their clinical data with the goal of presenting their findings to government agencies like the NIH and FDA.

Medical ozone and hydrogen peroxide form the "cutting edge" of a new healing paradigm, involving safe, effective, natural and less costly forms of medical therapy. As more people discover the value of these therapies, there will be greater consumer demand . Because bio-oxidative therapies like hydrogen peroxide and ozone hold great promise in treating both minor health problems and some of the most devastating diseases confronting humanity today, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, and HIV-related pr oblems at low cost, they can help solve our national health care crisis. As more physicians become acquainted with the value of these therapies, they will become a valuable part of mainstream medical practice.

Iodine And The Pineal

The pineal gland has been called "the mind's eye". Also, the "Eye of Horus". Some call it the "third eye". Do an internet search for any of these terms and see what you find out. Here is one:

If one closes their eyes, they can sense the focus of their consciousness shift upward, to a region in the middle of the forehead.

Few realize that the pineal gland contains photoreceptor cells. Why would a gland that is in the middle of the brain have photoreceptor cells ?

Few realize that the pineal gland also contains small amounts of a magnetic form of iron oxide. Some scientists attribute the sense of direction to this.

Few are aware that the pineal also contains calcite, a particular form of calcium carbonate, which when subjected to tiny pressures can , by the piezoelectric effect, generate tiny electrical currents.

Still fewer are aware that FLUORIDE is now known to accumulate in the pineal gland. Jennifer Luke, PhD. did her dissertation on this in the 1990's.

From this article, it is evident that large amounts of FLUORIDE accumulate in the pineal. Probably exists as calcium fluoride, which is a highly stable calcium compound having fluoride atoms bridging between calciums in a network lattice.

Do you think that the pineal can function properly if it is plastered with FLUORIDE ?

I am of the opinion that FLUORIDE effectively de-commissions the mind's eye.

I am also aware that the pineal is not protected by the blood-brain barrier, and it receives a constant large supply of blood, probably receives more blood than the kidneys. Evidently, nature meant for the pineal to interact with large volumes of blood, constantly.

I am also aware from the many articles authored by several MD's that iodine can cause removal of FLUORIDE from the body.

I would like to suggest therefore that iodine therapy may be a potent tool in assisting in the restoration of the normal function of the mind's eye, in subjects whose pineal glands have accumulated large amounts of fluoride over a lifetime.

If after prolonged iodine ingestion, people begin reporting increased episodes of ESP, I would not be surprised in the least. Iodine could be the key to remote viewing.

Health Benefits Of Apple Cider Vinegar

From The well-known saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away," is actually derived from the old English saying:
"To eat an apple before going to bed will make the doctor beg for his bread."

The undisputed benefits of eating apples, however, can be further multiplied many fold by the consumption of apple cider vinegar (ACV). A veritable host of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients and substances is available in ACV to improve and reinforce health.

The Bragg family, who make the famous Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, like to tell the following story: Farmer Bragg had an old hen prepared for dinner. The old hen's meat was tough and didn't taste good (this being what happens to poultry and beef when it's deficient in potassium; human flesh suffers the same problems). To prove to the children that ACV and raw honey needed to be an important part of their daily nutrition, he would then select another old hen for the dinner table. But this time he fed that old hen ACV twice a day. For a week to 10 days he gave the hen the ACV mixture. When the hen was prepared for the dinner table, the children saw the difference in the old hen's meat. They tasted how tender it was. It was just like eating a young hen.

When acid crystals harden in the joints and tissues of any animal, the joints become stiff and the tissues become hardened. The meat becomes tough and tasteless. But, when the animals are given ACV regularly, the precipitated acid crystals enter into a solution and pass out of the body, thus making the body tissues healthier and tender. This applies to human flesh also.

Now, when body tissues hold all the precipitated acid crystals they can, the crystals next appear in the bursae and joints of the body, resulting in arthritis and bursitis. One to two teaspoons of ACV with one to two teaspoons of raw honey in a glass of water daily will help relieve the stiff aching and prematurely old joints. You be the judge. See how elastic and well-oiled your joints will become!

Even the very healthiest people must continually fight the build-up of acid crystals in the body. The strongest solvent of acid crystals is a simple drink made up of ACV, raw honey and water. This powerful daily mixture puts the acid crystals in solution so they can be flushed out of the body by the kidneys and other organs of elimination. The malic acid content of the ACV dissolves calcium deposits in joints, while ACV acts to balance the acid-alkaline pH levels in the body and helps to oxygenate the blood.

Animal proteins and fats have a tendency to thicken the blood. Blood has to circulate all over the body through the arteries, blood vessels and tiny capillaries, and it's impossible for blood to circulate freely through these incredibly thin pipes when it's thickened with too much protein. However, the natural acids in ACV help keep the blood healthier and thinner. It's been reported that soaring blood pressure can be dramatically reduced by a 48-hour fasting program with only ACV, raw honey and water (five glasses a day plus additional water) being taken; a longer program, without the fasting, is said to work just as well.

ACV also prevents the growth of bacteria and mold. The acid content of ACV helps reduce the chance of bacterial or fungal growth on fresh foods. If you use conventionally grown produce, you can remove pesticide residues by spraying fruit and vegetables with ACV, then waiting five minutes and rinsing. Similarly, to eliminate bacteria fromorganic or conventional produce, spray it with ACV, wait five minutes and rinse. ACV can also be sprayed on seeds during the sprouting period to prevent the growth of bacteria or fungi: Simply place ACV in a mister bottle and spray your seeds thoroughly with ACV after each rinse with fresh water until the seeds are sprouted. You can rinse the ACV from the sprouts before serving if you dislike the taste!

ACV has been helpful as an aid for digestion, helping to break down minerals, protein and fats. It also inhibits the growth of unfriendly bacteria in the digestive tract. ACV has detoxifying properties, strengthens the immune system and may ameliorate viral, bacterial and fungal infections. It's used as an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory medicine and has a natural antibiotic effect.

Its benefits also include alleviating respiratory infections and may reduce symptoms such as watery eyes and nasal discharge with complete relief of pollen, food and pet allergies. If you live in a highly polluted area where allergies and sinus infections are rampant, your system may better balance itself with a small dose of ACV each day. ACV has also been reported to cure sinus infections, acne, high cholesterol, chronic fatigue, Candida, acid reflux, sore throats, contact dermatitis, arthritis and gout. Many find it to be a general energy tonic. It can be used to sooth sunburns and insect bites, to make your hair shine, and to treat dandruff. A wonderful side effect of drinking ACV every day is that it brings a healthy, rosy glow to one's complexion. This is great news if you suffer from a pale countenance. And, what's more – although no one is quite sure how – ACV also seems to break down fat and is widely reported to be a gradual, yet permanent and effective aid for losing weight.

Many commercial ACVs have been pasteurized, filtered, refined or distilled in order to make the product look good, and thereby be more appealing to the general public. Unfortunately, this extra processing destroys much of the healthy goodness of the product. The best type of ACV to use is one made from cold-pressed, organically grown whole apples, to which no chemicals or preservatives have been added, which contain the "mother of vinegar," and are not pasteurized. This "mother," as it is affectionately known, is a natural gelatinous substance formed during the final fermentation step. This type of especially wholesome ACV can be found readily in most health food stores and even in some general grocery stores.

The Abraham Cherrix cancer story the media won't print: Harry Hoxsey's cancer cures and the US government campaign to destroy them
by Jessica Fraser

The idea of health freedom is one Americans likely never consider. Certain freedoms in this country are taken for granted -- like the freedoms of speech and religion -- so freedom to choose a method of health care seems a given. Unfortunately, recent cases have brought to the public's attention the startling truth that the government can (and does) make medical decisions for Americans, whether or not they agree.
This is especially the case concerning parents' decisions to treat their children's diseases with alternative therapies over traditional, and often harmful, treatments. The most recent in a host of such cases involves a 16-year-old Virginia boy named Abraham Cherrix, who was diagnosed in August 2005 with Hodgkin's disease -- a cancer of the lymph nodes. After his initial diagnosis, Abraham submitted to chemotherapy, which made him feel sick and weak. His cancer went into brief remission before returning earlier this year, when he decided he would not undergo more chemotherapy, but rather try alternative herbal treatments. Abraham's parents supported their son's decision and began taking him to the Hoxsey Clinic in Mexico for treatments involving cancer-fighting herbs and an organic diet.

The story should end there. Abraham and his parents should be taking their son to the clinic in Tijuana, with no interference. However, the Virginia Department of Social Services decided to get involved, and asked the state court to require Abraham's parents to return him to a hospital in Virginia for conventional treatment, which would include stronger chemotherapy than he'd previously undergone, as well as radiation therapy. The court agreed and ordered Abraham's parents to give consent for their son to be treated with harsh chemo treatments at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk.

That's right: The court ordered his parents to give consent, which flies in the face of the spirit of "consent," which by definition involves a willing agreement between the consenting parties. Fortunately for their son's health, Abraham's parents refused, and an ongoing court battle began -- but for how long can Abraham's family fend off the courts seeking to subject their son to a "therapy" that comes with side effects ranging from pain and hair loss to vomiting and infections?

Does the state own your body?
Americans should be disturbed by Abraham's ordeal, regardless of whether or not they believe alternative treatments work. As Abraham's family lawyer put it: "This is not a case about what treatment is best. It's a case about who gets to decide." Other recent cases of health authorities revoking parents' rights to treat their children with natural therapies eclipse even Abraham's nightmare.
Take, for instance, the case of 13-year-old Katie Wernecke, a Texas girl diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease in January 2005. After her parents took her to the hospital for what they believed was pneumonia, she was treated with chemotherapy, and doctors also wanted to give her radiation therapy. Her parents declined, citing possible complications such as stunted growth, an increase in breast cancer risk and learning difficulties. They opted to try an alternative therapy involving high doses of intravenous vitamin C, but before they got to try the much safer therapy, Texas Child Protective Services intervened.

Unlike Abraham's case, Katie was taken away from her parents after they were labeled "neglectful" by the state, and her mother was arrested and thrown in jail for taking Katie to hide at a family ranch to avoid the ordered "treatment."

On a June 9 episode of NBC's "Today Show," viewers saw a videotaped statement from Katie, who said, "I don't need radiation treatment. And nobody asked me what I wanted. It's my body."

Apparently, the state of Texas disagreed with the ownership of Katie's body -- a district court judge eventually ruled that the Werneckes would be allowed to treat Katie with the vitamin C treatments, but only after she underwent five days of court-ordered chemotherapy. What's worse, her parents weren't allowed to be with her during the chemo they'd fought so hard to avoid.

Outrage at medical terrorism is compounded by efforts of medical establishment to silence cancer cures
People might be justifiably outraged to hear of Abraham's and Katie's trials, or they might believe that the government acted in the best interest of the young patients in attempting to force on them the only known "treatment" for cancer. Hold the phone, though. What would Americans think if they heard that traditional cancer treatments are not the only therapy, and that safe, effective cancer cures have been around for decades? Moreover, what would they think if they heard that trusted medical establishments charged with protecting the health of Americans -- such as the American Medical Association -- have waged a decades-long battle against such cancer cures in an attempt to keep them from the public?
Enter Harry Hoxsey, founder of the "Hoxsey Method" with which Abraham Cherrix is attempting to treat his cancer. Hoxsey is the great-grandson of John Hoxsey, an American physician who discovered a remarkably effective cancer cure in 1840 by watching horses with cancer cure themselves by foraging for certain rare herbs.

Harry Hoxsey, a coal miner with no formal medical training, began promoting his great-grandfather's cancer formula -- which contained a number of herbs, including bloodroot, burdock, red clover, licorice root, pokeroot, barberry root, buckthorn, prickly ash, stillingia root and cascara -- in the 1930s. He also marketed a salve for external cancers, called an "escharotic," which essentially burns off external cancers. His treatments proved amazingly effective at curing cancer, and word of his cancer treatments spread. People from all over the country -- including "terminal" patients conventional doctors had given up on -- sought out his treatments, no matter where he was practicing, and a high number of them were successfully cured.

Hoxsey was not a doctor, and could not legally practice medicine -- even if he was offering genuine cancer cures -- so to stay in business, he partnered with various MDs throughout his life, letting them do the official "treatments" while he acted as "technician." Though he never claimed to be a licensed physician, he was arrested hundreds of times over the course of his life, mostly for practicing medicine without a license -- including 119 arrests between 1926 and 1931 alone. According to Ralph W. Moss' "Herbs Against Cancer," Hoxsey had even taken to carrying $10,000 in cash every day to bail himself out of jail.

At the height of his popularity in the 1950s, Hoxsey was operating a chain of cancer clinics in Texas, and had seven licensed physicians working for him. He'd earned a Doctorate of Naturopathy in Texas, and helped tens of thousands of patients cure their cancer without surgery, chemotherapy or radiation, using herbal treatments and escharotic therapies.

Organized medicine's campaign to eradicate cancer cures
People may wonder why the American public hasn't heard of Hoxsey, if his treatments were so effective and cured so many. The answer is because large-scale, vicious attacks by U.S. health agencies eventually sent Hoxsey packing to Mexico, where he could finally practice herbal healing in relative peace. One might also wonder what "health" agency would ever knowingly drive a cure for cancer out of the country. The American Medical Association (AMA), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) would, just to name a few.
Why? Cliché as it may sound, they did it for political power. The AMA has historically been considered the "gold standard" of Western medicine -- a privilege that comes with vast control over what is and is not considered genuine medicine. Efforts to preserve and gain such political power have garnered the AMA a shady history rife with efforts to suppress natural and alternative treatments. For example, a small group of chiropractors won a landmark antitrust suit against the AMA in 1990 in the U.S. Court of Appeals 7th circuit, which ruled the AMA had violated the Sherman Act by "conducting an illegal boycott in restraint of the trade directed at chiropractors generally, and at the four plaintiffs in particular," This demonstrates the association's willingness to target entire alternative fields, as well as individuals within them.

Though a large part of the AMA's stated mission is to be "an essential force for progress in improving the nation's health," it was without a doubt Hoxsey's biggest enemy, and is largely responsible for driving him and his treatments out of the country. Morris Fishbein, editor of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) -- the AMA's flagship medical journal -- from 1924 to 1949, particularly targeted Hoxsey and his therapy, labeling Hoxsey a "quack" while simultaneously refusing to study his therapies or their efficacy. Fishbein went out of his way to sully Hoxsey's name in JAMA publications, and was eventually found guilty of libeling Hoxsey in two 1947 suits. "Fishbein had written an 'excoriating editorial' in JAMA titled 'Hoxsey -- Cancer Charlatan.' He also co-authored an article in the Hearst newspaper chain's weekly newsmagazine, titled 'Blood Money,'" writes Moss in "Herbs Against Cancer." Without evidence, Fishbein's JAMA articles attacked Hoxsey's treatment, claiming it "ate into blood vessels" and killed patients, Moss writes.

The FDA used money and corrupt political influence to chase Hoxsey out of America, state by state
The FDA, for its part in the Hoxsey debacle, used its influence to get courts in the states in which Hoxsey tried to practice to revoke the licenses of the physicians he worked with. "The FDA had limitless financial and publicity resources," writes Moss. "When Hoxsey employed physicians to give his treatment, Texas courts revoked their licenses and forbade him from operating a clinic. When he turned the clinic over to someone else, FDA secured a court order requiring the Hoxsey clinic to write individually to all patients and inform them that the treatment was no longer available. The final blow came on October 29, 1958 when the FDA simultaneously padlocked his clinics in a single day." Hoxsey's longtime nurse and current operator of his clinic in Mexico, Mildred Nelson, said, "In no way did Harry have the money to fight that state by state."
The NCI helped eradicate the Hoxsey method from U.S. soil in a somewhat different manner -- by giving him hope that the government would finally investigate his treatment, only to let him down on more than one occasion.

In 1945, Hoxsey met with three congressmen at the NCI offices in Maryland, where NCI director R.R. Spencer laid out the details of what the institute would need to review Hoxsey's method. Hoxsey went back to Texas and compiled above and beyond what the NCI had asked for, only to be told that his information was too incomplete and fragmented for investigation. However, in 1947, the NCI asked him to resubmit the information he'd sent before, for reconsideration by new staff members at the institute. He sent it, and soon received a reply that his records were still inadequate for consideration, and no government investigation would occur.

However, Hoxsey's cancer cures were not entirely without government approval. Dr. John Heinerman writes in "Natural Pet Cures" that: "A Dallas judge ruled in federal court that Hoxsey's therapy was 'comparable to surgery, radium and x-ray in its effectiveness, without the destructive side effects of those treatments.' (Hoxsey) faced unrelenting opposition and harassment from a hostile medical establishment. The AMA, NCI, and FDA organized a 'conspiracy' to 'suppress' a fair, unbiased assessment of Hoxsey's methods, according to a 1953 report to Congress."

In spite of that court's approval, Hoxsey's clinics in Dallas were shut down in the 1950s, and he moved his practice to Mexico. Hoxsey died in 1974, and his nurse, Mildred Nelson, has carried the torch at the Tijuana-based Bio-Medical Center ever since, caring for patients such as Abraham Cherrix.

Hoxsey's cancer cures really work
Though the government agencies that drove Hoxsey from the United States never bothered to test his therapy and called him a "quack" out of hand because he did not have a medical license, research has proven the efficacious effects of the herbs in his formulas.
For example, red clover has long been used as an herbal remedy for cancer, infections, tumors and menopause symptoms. It also supports the immune system and the blood. Burdock fights skin disorders and cancer, and supports the liver, skin and immune system. Licorice root is used for a myriad of health conditions ranging from inflammation and arthritis to cancer and heart disease. It supports the immune system, the blood, and the function of the spleen.

Pokeroot has shown anti-cancer properties, especially for breast cancers. Similarly, bloodroot is a powerful fighter against skin cancer. Cascara is a natural treatment for leukemia and liver disorders, and supports liver and gallbladder function. Stillingia root also treats skin conditions and acts as a blood purifier.

Though Hoxsey's formula often uses broad combinations of powerful herbs such as red clover and bloodroot, as well as many others, his formula is adapted to specially fit each individual patient, adding or removing herbal components case-by-case. The Hoxsey method also incorporates a healthy organic diet, along with vitamins and immune stimulation. While official government studies have never been performed, other forms of honest evidence support the benefits and success of Hoxsey's method.

"Today substantial laboratory data indicates that the Hoxsey herbal tonic could have genuine value against cancer," writes Kenny Ausubel in "When Healing Becomes A Crime." Ausubel continues, "Thousands of patients believe it saved their lives. There is no dispute that the Hoxsey remedies for external cancer are effective. Over the course of this century, numerous prominent figures including senators, congressmen, judges, and even doctors have affirmed Hoxsey's reputed cures and repeatedly called for an investigation. Why, then, has it taken so long? The answer is buried in medical politics. It revolves around a fierce trade war fought over money as well as fundamental conflict of medical opinion. Its consequence has been the exclusion and outright suppression of Hoxsey as well as numerous other unorthodox cancer therapies."

Alternative practitioners suffer from medical establishment's meddling, but patients suffer more
Unfortunately, Hoxsey's therapy is far from the only alternative treatment to be railroaded by conventional medical authorities. Unorthodox medical therapies have been forced to relocate to Mexico and other countries free of the red tape surrounding American medical politics.
Who suffers most from such medical bias and political lust? Sure, the alternative practitioners suffer, but so do countless Americans who are kept in the dark about natural, effective, safe treatments for diseases traditional practitioners treat with toxic chemotherapy and radiation -- which seem to kill the patients more often than save them. What's worse, the U.S. medical establishment seems to have convinced much of the country that its poisonous cancer "treatments" are the only option, and anyone who does not subject themselves or their children to it are criminals who must be punished.

"Since the early 1970s when President Nixon declared the War on Cancer, two trillion dollars have been spent on conventional cancer treatment and research, with the result that more Americans are dying of cancer than ever before," writes Walter Last in "The Natural Way to Heal: 65 Ways to Create Superior Health."

That's $2 trillion down the drain studying dangerous treatments that likely cause cancer as often as they temporarily delay its symptoms. Meanwhile, how much money does the FDA, AMA and NCI waste forcing holistic therapies like Hoxsey's out of the country? Today, such agencies have the public convinced that anyone seeking alternative therapies for serious diseases like cancer is misguided, uninformed and naive, and must be forced to submit to conventional treatments ostensibly for their own good, even if it is against their will.

A foundational principle of the United States is the freedom of its citizens to choose what is best for them, including how best to treat disease. With cases like Abraham Cherrix and Katie Wernecke seeing increasing media coverage, perhaps Americans will begin to realize how close they are to losing their health freedom. Medical agencies have already won many of the health freedom battles by successfully driving alternative therapies from U.S. soil, but it is far from too late for such offenses to be reversed. Americans may yet re-win their right to be in charge of their own bodies, regardless of the medical political scheming of the AMA, FDA and NCI.

Perhaps Abraham Cherrix says it best: "I think it's my body. I can choose what's best for my body. If I don't have the right to do that, then I don't have any rights at all anyway."

Beating Cancer

Beating cancer -- how to take charge of your cancer cure and outlive the lies of the cancer industry
by Mike Adams

Here's an example of how backwards health care really is in this country: it's actually front-page news that a cancer center is serving anti-cancer foods in its cafeteria. This is taking place at the Miami Cancer Center at Mercy Hospital. And it's apparently a big deal. Wow! Front-page news. Nation-wide news. Here is a cancer center serving foods that actually prevent cancer. Who woulda thunk it? Just the fact that this is news tells you how backwards the health care system in this country is, because if they're just now serving anti-cancer foods, what on earth have they been serving up until today? Cancer-causing foods?
Today, you can find fast food restaurants, pizza joints and hamburger stands in hospitals all across the country. It should be an embarrassment to organized medicine. It should be an outrage to every patient who enters such an institution. These are supposed to be places of health, yet they are serving people foods with toxic ingredients like sodium nitrate, saturated animal fats, refined white flour in the buns of these hamburgers and MSG in the meats. There's sugar in the tomato sauce, acrylamides in the fried foods, and hardly a speck of life left in the menus of most hospitals. There is truly dangerous food being served right now in cafeterias at cancer centers, hospitals, clinics, and, of course, public schools, all across the country.

Stop killing the hospital patients with junk food
There's a heart surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic who has taken a stand and said, "We want McDonalds out of this clinic. We want these junk food and fast food restaurants out." But the staff there is against him. They say, "We want our junk food. We want our diabetes-promoting, heart disease-promoting, cancer-causing foods. It's our choice." They want this stuff. Gosh, I hate to say it, but have you ever been in a hospital and looked at the health of the nursing staff? I used to volunteer in a nursing home. I have seen it first-hand. These are not the healthiest people in the world, not by a long shot.
I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone with this, especially if you're trying to make a positive difference. I'm not trying to attack any particular individual, but how can we call this health care? How can we call it anything other than a disease care system? It's a sick care system, and the whole system itself is sick. It thrives on sickness. It thrives on keeping people sick by actually feeding them disease-promoting foods as they come into the hospital (and a little more disease-promoting food when they leave the hospital). By the way, right in the middle of your surgery recovery, they're going to bring you more disease-causing foods, right to your bedside. They're going to charge you gourmet meal prices for that food, even while it's loaded with chemicals that will probably make it even harder for your body to recover from whatever surgical procedure you just endured.

How dare they call it medicine
It's just outrageous. Sometimes I get emails from doctors who say I'm outrageous. They say, "How dare you question organized medicine? How dare you think that you know anything about nutrition or healing?" I say back to them, "How dare you claim to be a doctor when you're working in a system that's feeding disease-promoting foods to patients! How dare you claim to be a doctor! On one hand, you claim to have all this medical knowledge, and, on the other hand, you're sick, your staff is sick, your patients are sick and you are feeding them disease-causing foods inside and outside the hospital. You're not even teaching people how to be healthy. How dare you call yourself an M.D. or a doctor! You have no such right."
A medical degree does not give you the right to claim you know how to heal people. You know nothing about healing until you venture outside the bounds of traditional organized medicine and have healed yourself first. If you have a healthy body and mind and a healthy sense of self esteem, and you don't have to step on all the people around you with your over-inflated ego, and if you have the ability to be a healer and share information with people and help uplift people around you, then you can call yourself a doctor, and it doesn't matter what degree you have. You can call yourself a doctor when you are a true healer, not when you have a medical degree and you work in an institution of disease called a hospital or a cancer center.

All hail the cancer center
When I say institutions of disease, I mean it. Look at what they're named -- an institution that's supposed to be treating people with cancer. What's it called? It's called a cancer center, as if it's a center erected to worship cancer. It's a cancer center.
Shouldn't it be called an anti-cancer center? Shouldn't it be called a health or wellness center? Well, no, it's not their focus. Their focus is on cancer. It's called a cancer center, almost as if it's some kind of monument to the disease. I think that all the people whose jobs depend on disease in some way worship the disease. They worship them because those diseases give them job security. The very names of these institutions eliminate any possibility of living in a world free of cancer, because if you have an institution named the Cancer Center, then how in the world can anybody who works there even consider the possibility of curing cancer? Then what would it be? It would be the Empty Cancer Center. It would be the Closed Down Cancer Center.

Shouldn't these institutions really be there to try to help people eliminate cancer? But that's not what all these cancer centers are doing. They are really there to manage these diseases. I say, bring in the alternative healers, and help these people be free of cancer. I can't tell you how many people I've talked to -- clinicians, people trained in herbal medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, or even those trained in Western medicine -- who are doing some advanced research on cancer. They've cured cancer, or more accurately, they've helped patients cure their own cancers, because cancer is a disease that is actually quite easy to beat, especially if it's caught in the early stages.

This is not a difficult disease to eliminate, but in modern medicine they try to make it complicated. They try to talk about the microbiology of what's happening, at the cellular level, what's happening with the angiogenesis factors and the genetic influences. They try to figure out the biochemistry and physics, but they get lost in all the details. They forget about the big picture, which is, "Hey, we want this patient to be free of cancer. What do we have that really works?"

Many cures for cancer exist right now
At last count, in my own research, I counted 18 cures for cancers -- 18 different cures. They cover all different kinds of cancer: multiple myeloma, brain tumors, leukemia, breast cancer, prostate cancer, cervical cancer, lung cancer and many others. Eighteen different cures for cancer. Now, the FDA says, "Oh no, you can't claim there's a cure for cancer." And organized medicine says, "Oh no, you can't claim there's a cure. There's no such thing as a cure." Then, if a patient is actually cured using some of these therapies, organized medicine still won't admit they're cured. They don't have the guts to stand up and say that maybe they were wrong, and maybe there is a cure for cancer. They think, "No, no, no, there is no such thing." I don't think any cancer center will admit there is a cure for cancer. They'll say, "No, it's just a permanent remission."
I'm here to tell you that there are cures for cancer. In fact, every day when I go running through the desert, I'm jogging by literally tons and tons of anti-cancer desert plants right outside my back yard. People are being cured of cancer every single day all over the world. They are curing themselves of cancer. It is just that it has been criminalized here in the United States. It has been outlawed because we live in the Dark Ages of modern medicine, in a system of oppression that tries to censor the truth and make curing cancer illegal. It's a system that tries to discredit all these alternative therapies and at the same time, tries to make a fortune managing all of these diseases that are easily preventable and curable if people just turn to therapies like a raw foods diet or the elimination of all animal products and processed foods from their diets.

Remember, it's headline news that this cancer center is serving anti-cancer foods. That tells you just how far behind things are in this country. You would think with all the hundreds of millions of dollars that have gone into cancer research -- this so-called research that's going on to find a cure for cancer -- that with all these doctors who study cancer, all these oncologists trained in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and all this incredible research that the pharmaceutical companies claim to be doing to make your life better... with all this going on, you would think somewhere along the line, somebody would have said, "Gee, maybe we should feed these people some anti-cancer foods."

It's common sense, right? If they put me in charge (which will never happen, so don't worry), I would walk in and scrap that whole menu at the cancer center, and I would give them a menu of serious anti-cancer foods: things like raw, organic vegan foods, loaded with broccoli, sprouts, cauliflower, kale, garlic, beans, berries, raw nuts and the like. After a couple of months of that, and some alternative therapies, those patients would never need to come back. Most of those patients would be free of cancer. Of course, that is one of the many reasons why they would never invite me to come in and do something like that. I would bankrupt these cancer centers by eliminating all their repeat business. I'd send people home cancer-free. And that's bad for business in the cancer industry. Their greatest fear, I believe, is that someone will actually promote a simple cure for cancer. It would wipe out a billion-dollar industry of profit and power.

Cancer cures from nature
Sometimes people say, "Okay, Mike, let's hear what you've got. You're talking big about this stuff. Name some anticancer foods." That's easy. Let's start with broccoli. Get some raw broccoli in your body. Broccoli sprouts are potent anticancer foods. Let's talk about some nutrition supplements -- selenium, zinc and modified citrus pectin for prostate cancer, for example. Vitamin D is a potent moderator of cancer tumor cell growth, so if you get enough vitamin D in your body, you're going to prevent and even help reverse prostate, cervical and breast cancers. The way you get vitamin D is to get some sunshine on your skin. This is not rocket science, folks. Doctors try to make it sound complicated, but it isn't.
You have anticancer properties in blueberries, and in all of the small fruits – blackberries, raspberries, acai and goji berries from Asia. Then you have onion, ginger and garlic. Garlic is phenomenal as an anti-cancer food. It contains sulphur compounds that just obliterate cancer cells. You've got spirulina, which contains anticancer phytochemicals called phycocyanin, which provide a blue-green color. When injected into breast tumors in laboratory studies in Japan, it's been shown to cause breast tumors to self-destruct. You've got chlorella and oxygen treatments. There is a product out there called Cell Food; when you take it into your body, it creates nascent oxygen and hydrogen. This oxygen helps create an environment in the body in which your body naturally eliminates its own cancerous cells. That's just the tip of the iceberg here.

Then you have traditional Chinese medicine, with some powerful anti-cancer herbs. There's an outstanding book on that by Michael Tierra, who is a master herbalist, and really one of the best herbalist authors out there. He's got a book called Treating Cancer with Herbs. This book teaches you about medicinal mushrooms -- the reishi mushrooms and the shitake mushrooms. Beyond that, we have anti-cancer oils: salmon oil, flax oil and cod liver oil. The list just goes on and on.

I haven't really covered them all, but in addition all those healing foods, there are all the foods you can eliminate from your diet to stop poisoning your body and stop giving yourself cancer. What are those foods? Well, there's sodium nitrate, which is in almost every processed meat product, found in every grocery store in the world, so if you just eliminate processed meats, your cancer risk plummets. You should also eliminate hydrogenated oils and partially-hydrogenated oils, both of which strongly promote cancer.

Eliminate homogenized milk and dairy products. Stop drinking liquids excreted from the glands of other species. (You thirsty pervert...) Eliminate all red meat from your diet. Eliminate all liquid refined sugar, such as soft drinks made of high-fructose corn syrup. Eliminate all food additives, preservatives and artificial colors; eliminate MSG, which is known as monosodium glutamate, yeast extract, hydrolyzed vegetable protein and autolyzed vegetable protein. Eliminate aspartame and sucralose and all the artificial chemical sweeteners. Eliminate white flour; stop barbecuing your meat, because barbecuing meat creates chemicals that cause colon cancer and stomach cancer. Stop cooking your food at extremely high temperatures. Or, better yet, become a live foods vegan. I'm just naming off a few things. You can be cancer-free if you follow the recipe.

Curing cancer is not profitable
So why aren't the cancer centers in this country giving people this recipe? It's freely available. I just named off some of the best strategies out there that are very easy to follow. So why aren't cancer centers giving people this information? Ill tell you why. There's no money in it. A world free of cancer is a world without any paying cancer patients. That's why there's virtually NO effort or investment being spent on the prevention of this disease.
The answers to cancer, to living free of this disease, are right here in front of us, right now. You can walk outside your door and look at nature, and those are the answers to cancer right there. It's not that difficult. It's eating foods of different colors; the rainbow diet. There's an anti-cancer strategy right there. There's another book called, Eat to Beat Cancer that lists all the anti-cancer foods out there, everything from nuts and peanuts to legumes, brown rice, onions, kale, spinach and cauliflower. If you do these things right, you won't have cancer. There's another book by Dr. Gabriel Cousens called Conscious Eating that gives you loads of information on using live foods to eliminate chronic disease (and heal the planet, too).

Cancer is not a matter of luck. Only doctors and pharmaceutical companies want you to think it's a matter of luck. If they can convince you to believe that, then you'll go through life thinking it doesn't matter what you eat, and then you are much more likely to have a poor diet and end up with the disease, which makes them a lot of money.

I am just astonished at what we have in this country -- this system that claims to offer health care is a complete myth. There is no health care. There is just disease management, exploitation and profiteering. That's the system we have in this country today, and the fact that it is headline news that a cancer center is serving anti-cancer foods is proof that we still live in the Dark Ages of modern medicine. We still live in an age of censorship and oppression, distortion and propaganda. The organizations out there pushing the pro-cancer propaganda include every major medical association and disease organization you can name. They also include medical journals that disallow the publication of articles on alternative medicine. These are some of the players who are defending this "Dark Ages" system they call medicine, which is really just a gimmick to turn the human body into a profit-generating machine for Big Pharma.

You were designed to live in a state of perfect health
How do I know all this to be true at a personal level? Because I'm the healthiest I've ever been in my life. I am healthy because I fired my doctor, I swore off prescription drugs and I started teaching myself about health and nutrition. I reversed my disease. I eliminated chronic back pain and I eliminated my borderline diabetes, obesity and depression. I did it all by turning to nature and ignoring all the information from modern medicine, companies, the FDA, the mainstream press, medical schools, cancer centers and everybody else. That information will, in my opinion, lead to a life of chronic pain, degenerative disease, and medical bankruptcy.
If you want to be healthy, you've got to acknowledge your human nature and your interaction with the natural world around you. You have a blueprint for health in you right now. You're supposed to be healthy. That's your DNA. Doctors always talk about DNA as providing a blueprint for disease, which is hogwash. They never tell you about how your DNA actually is designed to keep you at a perfect point of health. That's the whole point of the DNA -- to pass on a blueprint that lets you survive and reproduce. That's basic science, folks. How on earth can doctors think that DNA passed down through hundreds of thousands of generations could have a gene that would cause heart disease? That's ridiculous. They must not know anything at all about natural selection, because if someone caries a gene that kills them, guess what? They don't reproduce. So the genes that you have are genes that have survived and thrived through all of these generations, from healthy ancestry down to today, giving you the gift of a blueprint for perfect health.

The only reason you aren't in perfect health today, and the only reason we aren't healthy as a nation, is because we've gone off the map. We stopped following the blueprint. We changed our environment. We changed our foods, our diet, our levels of stress, our use of toxic products like personal care products, deodorants, shampoos, laundry products and soaps with triclosan and antibacterial chemicals. We started popping prescription drugs like a bunch of crack addicts in this country. Forty percent of the nation now is on prescription drugs. Then when people get sick, we poison them with chemotherapy and radiation, and we call it medicine.

So you want to be healthy? Get back to your nature. Recognize that you have a natural blueprint for being perfectly healthy. Now, as one disclaimer to all this, I want to tell you that it is important to work with a qualified health professional during any major health transition. That should be a naturopathic physician, ideally... or an M.D. who has really educated himself or herself about alternative medicine, nutrition and lifestyle changes. And there are such M.D.s out there. You just have to ask around and find one. You can't just settle for any old M.D., or you might get someone who is a big drug pusher.

And if you ever have to go to a hospital or cancer center, take my advice: Bring your own food. You don't want the stuff they're going to feed you; that is, unless you want to stick around the center for a lot longer. If that's the case, then go ahead and eat their hospital food. That will keep you in the hospital a few extra days, probably. But if you want to be healthy and free of disease, or if you want to recover from an injury or some kind of surgical procedure, bring your own food.

Real medicine is taking place at the personal level. It's taking place with education across the internet. It's taking place in the homes of people who are taking charge of their health. That's real medicine and real healing. Be part of it. Be healthy, and help us move out of the Dark Ages of modern medicine and into an era of authentic healing and disease prevention; an age where we can have the majority of the population healthy rather than chronically diseased and addicted to toxic prescription drugs. Be healthy yourself. Set a good example. My name is Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, and I thank you for your interest in this information.

Bill Harris Discusses The Secret

Unless you've been living in a cave, you've heard of the hit DVD
movie, The Secret, which I was fortunate enough to have participated
in. The Secret has developed into quite a phenomenon. Many of the
teachers who appeared in it have appeared on Oprah! and Larry King
Live, and several other national television programs. Hundreds of
thousands of people have watched the DVD, and those who have are
hungry for information on how to implement what many people call the
Law of Attraction. This month I want to share my take on The Secret
and the Law of Attraction, and talk about what you can do to put
these principles into action in your own life.

As powerful as The Secret is, there are a few things—a few very
important things—it either leaves out, or de-emphasizes. I want to
discuss these things, because once you understand them you'll have
the maximum ability to use these important principles to take change
of your life. Without them, The Secret won't benefit you at all.

My belief is that there is a way, no matter who you are, and
regardless of your past or present circumstances, to master your
life, to master your mind, and to create anything you want in life.
The Secret describes a part of how to do that. It's a very important
part, but it's still just a part. I want to tell you about the other
parts, and share some of the practical details, the "how-to," of
what I and the other teachers talked about in The Secret, because
there's more to The Secret and the Law of Attraction than just
putting something out to the universe and hoping to get something

As the people who made The Secret have said, it's true that for
thousands of years a certain small segment of the population has
known about and used this secret, and that those who've known it and
have used it have prospered in extraordinary ways, and have
influenced the world in ways that have seemed almost magical to
those who don't understand this secret. But you need to know more
than generalizations about this secret in order to fully implement
it, and I want to share some of that with you.

Before I get into some of the nuts and bolts, I want to tell you
about two aspects of this secret that were not emphasized in The
Secret DVD and book. I'm sharing this with you because these two
additional aspects of The Secret are crucial, and if you leave them
out, The Secret doesn't work.

What you focus on creates your life—but it ain't magic!
Let's start out, then, by acknowledging that it's true that you
create in reality, in one way or another, whatever you focus your
attention on. Your life is going to be an outcome of where you
predominantly place your attention. There are, of course, as I said,
some things you need to know about the how-to of this in order to
get all the benefits, and I'll talk about that in a moment. What is
unfortunate, in my opinion, is that all too often people think that
all you have to do is focus your attention on what you want, and
then, in some magic way, you'll get it.

I will say that the way this law works does seem like magic,
especially when you first use it and see your results suddenly
change from dismal to successful, but there is no magic involved,
and without the second two principles I'm going to share, you'll end
up being nothing but a wishful thinker, wondering how long
this "Secret" stuff is going to take. I know, because I get many
letters from people asking me how long it's going to take, and I
have to truthfully tell them that if all they do is focus their
attention on what they want, it's going to take forever.

So let's look at these other two principles I mentioned, and then
we'll get into some of the nuts and bolts of how to focus your mind
in a way that really works. The first principle you heard a lot
about in The Secret DVD, the fact that what you place your attention
on you tend to create or attract into your life. However, if you
stop there, not much happens. After you place your attention on what
you want to create or manifest, you have to use the second
principle, which is to then take action to get it.

Forget about the Wish Fairy
Yes, I hate to break this to you, but if you want money—or anything
else, for that matter—you can't just wish for it. Whether you want
great relationships, a fulfilling career, good health, or anything
else, in addition to focusing your attention on what you want, you
also have to take action.

And the action you take also has to, in some way, be of value to the
world, and to other people. You could act your ass off, but if your
action has no value for anyone, you won't get anything back. This is
why they call it the Law of Attraction. You get back what you put
out. To get value, you have to give value. That's the way it works.

For some of the people who come to me, or the other teachers you saw
in The Secret, life isn't working so well. I know what that's like,
because I used to be one of them. Such people aren't making much
money, usually. They very often aren't in a fulfilling career. Their
relationships aren't satisfying. They don't feel happy and peaceful.
Their health may not be very good. Many of them feel very lost in
the world. They sometimes feel like, well, like losers in the game
of life.

Often such people don't have the skills that allow them to offer a
lot of value. That doesn't mean that they couldn't develop those
skills, or in some other way figure out how to create value in the
world, but at the present time they either don't have the skills or
don't know how to use them to create benefit for others.

You see, the problem is that such people—and remember, I used to be
one of them, so I understand the thought process—such people would
LOVE to find out that there's a magic way to become prosperous,
popular, respected, happy, and loved. Then, when someone comes along
and tells them to just "put it out to the universe" it almost
becomes a cruel joke, because to create the kind of life I just
described, you have to do more than just think about it or wish for

I want everyone who feels lost and discouraged about creating the
life they want to know that while you can't JUST focus your
attention on what you want, it isn't that difficult to add these
other two principles, and, having added them, you can learn how to
have everything you want in life. It isn't magic, and it isn't
difficult, but there is a price to pay. My career, once I found it,
albeit late in life, is about showing people what that price is, and
then showing them the easy way to pay it.

Here's how it works...
So let's look at the first principle, what most people think of now
as The Secret—the idea that what you place your attention on is
manifested in reality. This is a solid, real, principle, but it
isn't magic. Here's why this principle works—if, of course, you use
the other two principles with it.

When you focus your attention on something you want to create or
attract, several things happen. Your mind is a very powerful goal
seeking mechanism. You just have to give it a goal, and it gets busy
figuring out how to get it. When you focus on something, your mind
takes it as an instruction to figure out how to create or attract
whatever you've focused on. In fact, right now, you're already using
that power. The problem isn't a lack of ability to manifest what you
focus on, but rather a lack of conscious and intentional control
over what you focus on.

In other words, most people focus their mind unconsciously and
unintentionally. Their focus runs on autopilot. Your mind was pre-
set to focus in a certain way during childhood, and now it just runs
on automatic. Depending on what happened while you were growing up,
your mind focuses a certain amount of the time on what you want, and
a certain amount of the time on what you want to avoid. Either way,
though, it attracts or creates it.

Here's how it works. Now remember that this first principle works in
conjunction with the other two—taking action, and making sure the
action is of value to someone. So when you focus on something you
want to create or attract, a number of things happen. First, you get
ideas about what actions you could take. If you want to attract a
glass of lemonade, you think about having it, and your mind
immediately suggests that you to go to the kitchen, if you have some
lemonade there, or take a trip to the supermarket to buy some, if
you don't. Instantly, you get ideas about what action to take in
order to make your idea a reality.

Turning wishes into lemonade
You can probably see that sitting there visualizing lemonade without
doing something about it is a belief in magic, and if that's all you
do you're not going to get lemonade. Even if someone walks into the
room just as you think of lemonade, and you ask them to get you
some, you've still taken action. And, if by some coincidence you
thought of lemonade and right then someone walked into the room and
said, "I was wondering if you'd like some lemonade?" this is not
happening because you thought about lemonade. A lot of magic-
believers would like to think so, but you could sit there every day
and think about lemonade, and it would be a long time before that
method would work again.

Scientists have a name for this. It's called a coincidence. People
who believe in magic turn coincidences into evidence, but that
doesn't make it so, and you can easily prove this to yourself by
thinking of lemonade the next day, and the day after that, and the
day after that, and finding out what happens. What will happen is
that no lemonade will manifest the next day, or the next, or the
next, unless you get up out of your chair and take action to find

How to find all the resources you need
So the first thing that happens when you focus on getting something
is that your mind generates ideas about how to get it, ideas about
what actions you could take to get it. The second thing that happens
is that you begin to notice resources you could use in getting what
you want. You might notice people who could help you that you
weren't noticing before. You might suddenly become aware of
information, books, seminars, TV shows, or whatever, that previously
you had not noticed.

Perhaps you've had the experience of wanting to learn about
something and going to a bookstore. Suddenly you see all kinds books
about the subject that you never noticed before, and would have just
walked right by if you hadn't told your mind to notice them.

Let's say you're driving down the street and you decide you want an
Italian meal. If there are any Italian restaurants on that street,
will you notice them? Of course. Would you have noticed them if you
hadn't focused your attention on Italian food? Probably not.

When you focus your attention on something, your mind develops a
kind of radar that causes resources to wave little red flags at you,
and to almost jump into your arms, or at least into your awareness.
But again, you can see how this relates to taking action, because
these resources you notice are useful only if you use them.

Okay, so far, by focusing on what you want, you've begun to develop
some ideas about how to get it, and you've started noticing
resources you could use. Next, focusing on what you want causes you
to become motivated to act. Because you're thinking about what you
want, and about how you'll feel when you get it—good, probably—you
become motivated to do something, to take action.

You can be a high-quality person
And, finally, focusing on what you want causes you to tap into or
develop certain internal qualities that help you to get it, such
things as courage, or persistence, or focus. Because you're focused
on what you want, and are thinking about the benefits of having what
you want and imagining how good it will feel, you're more likely to
be persistent, to focus your attention, to be disciplined, to be
self reliant, to take personal initiative, to use your imagination,
and to be enthusiastic.

Those who focus on what they want develop all of these personal
qualities, and, depending on what qualities are needed in order to
create what you want, possibly others. And, the more and the longer
you focus on what you want, and the more positive emotion you add,
the more these qualities become part of your personality.

So focusing your mind in the way described in The Secret causes you
to have ideas, to notice people and resources that could help you,
to become motivated to act, and to develop internal qualities that
will help you act to get what you want. You can see, then, how
incredibly valuable focusing your attention on what you want can be.
If you've ever wondered why some people seem to have so many ideas,
how they seem to always find the resources they need or the people
who can help them, how they stay motivated, and how they seem to
have all these amazing personal qualities, now you know. They did it
by continually focusing their attention on what they want and then
taking valuable action.

Ask the Magic Question
Now here's a really easy way to focus your attention on what you
want. I call it the Magic Question, but again, it really isn't
magic. To focus your attention on something you want to create or
attract, ask yourself, "How can I create X?" whatever X is, or "How
can I get X?" Sometimes, if you're in what seems to be a
particularly bad situation, you might say, "Given that I'm in this
situation, what can I do to get X?" For instance, if you just lost
your job and you have a lot of debts, you might ask yourself, "Okay,
given that I'm in this situation, what can I do right now to create
a new job and create enough money to pay all these debts?"

When you ask this type of How Can I? question, it focuses your
attention on what you want, and in doing so you enlist your mind in
finding an answer—in other words, to figure out what you could
actually DO to begin creating or attracting what you want.

Then, as you get ideas, you have to act on them. Sitting there
wishing and hoping for a miracle, or hoping that a coincidence will
slam into you is what NOT to do. Dr. Phil, if he were here, would be
asking such a person, "How's that workin' for ya?" I know a lot of
very successful people, including nearly every teacher who appears
in The Secret, and believe me, none of them sit around waiting for a
miracle to land on them.

Even the few of them who actually, and in my opinion mistakenly,
teach that focusing on what you want is magic, when you watch what
they're actually doing, they are taking action. How they can miss
the fact that they are is beyond me, but a few of them—who shall
remain nameless—do teach people to just "put it out to the universe"
and that no action is necessary. They too, though, take action, but
I guess they somehow fail to see the connection between the action
they take and the results they get.

If you look around at successful, make-it-happen people, you won't
see any of them who don't take action.

It only looks like they're not taking action
Now I'll admit that sometimes the results can look as if they are
coming to a very successful person awfully darned easy and awfully
darned quickly, but these results are still coming from action,
preceded by focusing on what that person wanted.

My friend Gay Hendricks, along with his wife Katie, have been
bestselling authors of books about relationships for over twenty
years. Another friend, Jack Canfield, is also a bestselling author.
Either one of them can pick up the phone, call a book publisher,
tell them an idea for a book, and get a book deal instantly. If some
other person wanted a book deal, it could take them years to make it
happen. If their idea didn't have value, based on what the publisher
wanted, they might never make it happen.

To someone who did not understand the principle of taking action and
the principle of creating value, it might look like Gay or Jack made
something happen as if by magic, without taking action. However, in
this case the book deal happened quickly because of actions they'd
previously taken. In fact, Jack visited scores of publishers with
the original Chicken Soup for the Soul book, and was almost ready to
give up, when he finally found a publisher willing to print his
book. But now, after selling well over 100 million books, he's
already proven that he can create a bestselling book. He's already
taken the action necessary to get a book publisher to send him a
contract and a check. The same goes for Gay Hendricks.

I can create a new course or a new product, and Centerpointe program
participants will buy it tomorrow, in droves. This isn't magic,
though. It's the residual of thousands of actions I've already taken
which have convinced my customers that when I create something, it's
going to be worth it for them to buy it in order to get the
benefits. I've already taken the required action, and sometimes that
makes it look as if little or no action is being taken in order to
get a certain outcome.

Will the Wish Fairy give you a raise?
Let's take this down to a more mundane example. If you work in an
office, and your boss approaches you and offers you a better job in
the company, with more pay, why does he do this? Is it magic? Is it
because you've been sitting in your cubicle putting it out to the
universe that you want a better job with more money? I doubt it. If
your boss offers you such a promotion, I'll bet you anything it's
because of past actions you've taken that have convinced your boss
that you're worth the raise, and because he's pretty sure that your
future actions will make it worth his while to give you new
responsibilities and more money.

Now, let's look at the third principle, the idea that the action you
take has to benefit someone, that your action has to create value.

Think of it this way. From time to time you give money to other
people, right? You pay your electric bill, you pay your car payment,
you give money to the supermarket, you give money to the clothing
store, or the gas station. Why do you do this? Is it just because
you like these people? Is it because they put it out to the universe
that you would stop by and give them money?

Well, you might like them, and they probably did sit down and focus
on how to get you and other customers to give them some of your
money, but when it comes right down to it, you gave them money
because they have something you want more than you want the money.
Like everyone else, unless it's just because you love them, you give
money to others if you get something valuable in return. What's
more, you're the sole judge of whether what they have is valuable.
It doesn't matter who else thinks it's valuable—if you don't think
it is, you don't give up your money for it.

The ONLY reason people will give you money
Other than money you might give to someone just because you love
them, this is the only reason why money changes hands. This means
that if you want money, someone else is going to have to give it to
you, and they're going to use the same criteria you use. If giving
you money gets them something they want more than the money, they'll
give you the money. In order to get more money, then, you have to
figure out a way to create more benefit, more value. This is really
the essence of the Law of Attraction. The amount of money you
attract is equal to the value you provide.

This applies to more than money, of course. As the Beatles said in
one of their songs, "the love you take is equal to the love you
make." I'm only talking in terms of money because that's what most
people think of when they think of The Secret and the Law of
Attraction. But whatever you want—love, respect, friends, or
anything else—you'll receive it to the extent that you put out,
through your actions, something of equivalent value. Be a good
friend, and you'll have friends. Act in a way that invites respect,
and you'll be respected. And so on.

The main point, though, is that for you to get something in this
world, you have to give. As Emerson said, the universe's books are
always balanced—which, by the way, also means that you can't fail to
receive when you give, and if you have to wait, you build up
interest, you might say, while you wait.

Now, some people struggle, at least partially, because they haven't
found a way to offer very much value, so they don't make much money.
If you're flipping burgers, it's probably because you don't have the
skills that make you more valuable to someone else, which means
others aren't willing to trade very much money for whatever you
provide. The burger-flipper needs to be reliable enough to show up,
smart enough to follow directions, and be able to get along with the
other employees, but not much else is required.

It's also possible that you have something that would be of value to
others, but you haven't found a way to let others know about it. In
that case, you have a sales and marketing problem, and you need to
find a way to convincingly let others know about the value you could
provide for them.

The more valuable you are, the more money you make
But there's a solution to this, and it isn't wishing and hoping. If
you don't have a way to create very much value for others, you can
always get more knowledge or more skills. I have people who work for
me who know how to take orders over the phone and enter them into
the computer, and they do it well. However, a lot of people can do
such a job, so it isn't a very lucrative job compared, for instance,
to someone who knows how to manage people, or who knows how to run a
computer network, or who knows how to create an advertisement that
creates a lot of sales. Such people end up getting more money
because they provide more value. And, they can provide more value
because they've paid the price to have those skills and that

Re: Two Parts of The Secret No One Talks About — and Why The Secret Won't Work Without Them Quote

So if you aren't making as much money as you want, you need to
figure out a way to create more value, and you need to figure out a
way to make sure people know you have this value. The value could be
your ideas, it could be your labor, it could be a product you create
or sell, or it could be a service you provide. If it has value, and
if you can find a way to make sure people know about it, you'll make
money equivalent to the value you provide. And, of course, none of
this will happen unless you take action, and you won't take action—
or know what action to take—unless you begin by focusing your mind
on what you want and asking yourself how you can get it.

But please don't think that you can just wish for something or "put
it out to the universe," and then, without taking action or
providing any value, expect to get it. In fact, let me clue you into
another aspect of the Law of Attraction. If a random event brings
you something, for which you haven't provided value—something you
haven't paid the price to have—I hate to tell you this, but you
still have to pay in some way.

If you win the lottery, you've received a bunch of money without
having provided value in exchange. You know what happens to nearly
all people who win millions in the lottery, don't you? That's right.
They almost always lose all the money within a few years. Unless
that person does something with the money that provides value to
others, they'll find a way to lose it.

And, by the way, this is the way debt works, too. If you go into
debt in order to have something before you've earned the money, you
end up paying more for it. There is a price for everything, and when
you pay in advance the price is lower, and when you pay in arrears
the price is higher. One of the big secrets to success is to find
out what the price is for what you want and pay it, in full, as fast
as possible. The price might be money, but it also could be time,
experience, learning, work, or something else. Sometimes the price
is a series of events that look like failures, but are really
preparation for success. But whatever the price is, the faster you
pay it, the better. This is what the second two principles are about.

Who wants $100,000?
Okay, let's take an example to see how you could use these three
principles to get what you want. Let's say that you do want more
money, and you realize right away that you don't yet have a way to
provide additional value to others, which is what would qualify you
to receive more money. For that reason, no one is giving you money.
What do you do? The first thing to do is to use the first principle,
the principle of focusing your attention on what you want. "I want
more money," you say. You ask yourself, "How can I get more money?"
Notice that I'm using that "How can I?" question again. It's always
a great question to ask because it focuses you on what you want.

It would be even better, though, if you were more specific. I might
say, then, "I want to make $100,000 a year. How can I do that?" Or,
I might say to myself, "Okay, how can I make $100,000 a year? Many
other people do it, so I know it's doable. How could I do it?" I
would keep asking myself this question, and I would focus my
attention on discovering a way to do it. Knowing the other two
principles, I'd know that when I get an idea, I'm going to have to
take action, and the action will have to benefit someone, so I'm
keeping that in the back of my mind.

So, what happens? First, you start getting ideas. Right now, off the
top of my head, I'm just going to share with you the ideas that come
to me, as if I was the person wanting to make $100,000 a year. The
first idea that comes to me is to see if I can find out who else is
making $100,000 a year. What professions make that much? Well,
certainly a lot of people who have their own business make that
much. A guy who owns a McDonald's makes more than that much for each
store he owns. Someone who owns a couple of dry cleaning stores
probably makes that much. I could probably go online and find
through Google a whole list of types of jobs that make $100,000 a

People who sell certain products online, or through the mail,
probably make that much. Certain professional speakers, or authors,
make that much. Someone who sells real estate can make that much, or
more, and so can insurance agents. So one idea that came to me was
to check out who's actually making this kind of money, because that
might give me ideas for how I could do it. By finding this out, I
could at least save myself from doing something that I think will
make me a lot of money when in actual fact few if any people
actually make that kind of money doing it.

For instance, I see a lot of people in certain MLM-type businesses,
but rarely do I see anyone who even makes $1000 a month, let alone
significant money. I'm not trying to bash MLMs in general, because
some of them are great, and I'm not saying it isn't possible to make
good money in MLM, but if you're looking for a way to make a lot of
money, wouldn't it make sense to avoid something where nearly
everyone who does it fails?

If you want to start a business, do a little checking before you act
and find out what other people in that business are making.

Daydreaming, or acting?
Here's something else to keep in mind. If you sit around and focus
your attention on something you want, but you're daydreaming, you
aren't going to get it. Why? Because daydreaming is a kind of
thinking that already has lack of action built into it. There's a
huge difference between thinking about something when you're in
wishing mode, and thinking about the same thing when you're in
acting mode. If you want to create something, always do your
thinking while in acting mode.

But let's get back to creating that $100,000 a year. I've already
mentioned that focusing on how to do this gives you ideas. But it
also causes you to notice resources you might use. You might, for
instance, notice books about how to make more money. Or you might
notice that someone has a seminar about how to make more money.

It occurs to me as I'm thinking about this right now that my friend
Harv Eker, for instance, has a great seminar, and a book, about
making money. If you Google "Harv Eker", you'll see all kinds of
offerings he has. I know they're good, and if you follow his advice
you'll learn how to make more money. Jack Canfield has some great
stuff, too, and his book, The Success Principles, is a very complete
guide to how people create what they want in the world. I have a
very powerful online course that will teach you, in-depth, exactly
how to create whatever you want, which I'll tell you more about

There are almost unlimited resources available about how to make
money. You usually don't notice them because you haven't focused
your attention on finding them. Then, of course, when you find them,
you have to take action and use them. This is where most people fall
down. There's a price to pay to get what you want in this world, and
most people would rather not pay it.

Paying the price—and enjoying it
The people you see who are getting what they want in life are almost
always those who have figured out how to enjoy paying the price,
which of course makes it easy to pay. As I said earlier, this is the
essence of the Law of Attraction—the price is just whatever you need
to give in order to attract or create what you want. That's why just
sitting there hoping and wishing doesn't work. When you do that, the
only thing you're putting out is an intention, which, while it's a
good start, is of no value to anyone—unless you act on it.

The resources you begin to notice when you focus on what you want
might also include people who could help you. And when you begin to
spot such people, you have to keep in mind that if you want their
help you have to make it worth their while to help you. This might
mean paying them, but you could compensate them in many other ways.
You could make them a partner. You could give them a feeling of
being a good person who helps others. Or anything in between.

And, quite often, if people who have the ability to help you see
that what you have has real merit, some of them will help you just
to help you, because they understand the Law of Attraction and they
know if they help you it will come back to them in some other way.
Often the people who have really mastered the Law of Attraction have
so much, and they create what they want so effortlessly, that they
just want to give back by helping others.

It never hurts to ask
It never hurts to ask for help, even if you're not sure how to
compensate the other person. But always start with the willingness
to compensate them in some way, even if you don't yet know how. In
fact, if you aren't sure, you could begin by saying, "I'm not sure
how at this point to make it worth your while, but I sure could use
your help." Ask, and see what happens, and always be open to
compensating the other person in some way, even if you haven't yet
figured out what it might be. In fact, be eager to compensate them.

So, you focus on what you want, and you ask yourself questions such
as "How can I make $100,000 a year?" Because of that, you get ideas,
you notice resources, you attract or notice people who might be able
to help. Focusing on what you want and imagining how good it will
feel to get it causes you to feel motivated to act, and so you take
action. Then, after you act, notice what happened. Evaluate your
action. Your action was either successful or not, or something in
between. Whatever happens, you'll get feedback. If your action
worked, you might want to do more of it. If it didn't work, learn
whatever you can from it, and then take another action based on what
you learned. Keep acting, evaluating, and then acting again, until
you create or attract whatever it is you're trying to get.

Even if you have to refine your actions many times, you're still
benefiting because you're gaining wisdom. This is why successful
people are so successful. They've acted, and received feedback, and
acted again, and received more feedback, and have done this so many
times that they've become wise. They've become experts. So be
willing to pay the price to become an expert. All these little so-
called failures are really tuition in the school of life, and the
learning they bring is very valuable.

All the while you're doing this, of course, you're remaining focused
on where you want to go and what you want to create, and you've
already decided, in advance, that nothing is going to keep you from
getting there. If you slip up, if what you're doing isn't working,
if you fall on your face, you learn everything you can from what
happened, and continue to focus on how to get where you want to go.

This constant focus on the end result, along with taking action, and
always trying to think of how to create value for others, always,
eventually, gets you there. The only way you can fail is if you're
mistaken about the value of what you provide, or you quit before you
get there. You might change your approach for getting there a number
of times, based on what you learn, but you otherwise just keep
focusing your attention on what you want and acting to get it.

The Secret Shortcut
Now, would you like to know a huge shortcut to this process? I
thought so. It's easy. Find other people who are already
successfully doing what you want to do, or getting what you want to
get. Then, find out what they're doing, and copy them. Also, while
you're at it, find out how they're focusing their mind.

So far I've spoken about focusing your mind as if it was a pretty
simple "one-size-fits-all" thing to do, but there are actually a
number of important things to learn about how to focus your mind,
and I'll tell you a little bit more about that in a moment. For now,
just know that it's very beneficial to find out what the person
you're modeling believes about what they're doing, what they think
is important about it, how they decide what to pay attention to and
what to delete from their attention, and many other nuances about
how they focus their attention.

And, then, of course, you want to find out what actions they've
taken to create what you want to create. All of this you can copy,
which gives you a huge head start. Then, as you gain wisdom through
your own actions, you can add your own twist to what you learned
from them.

How do you find these people? First, just asking yourself that
question—"How do I find people who are successfully doing what I
want to do?" causes you to think of ways to find them. But just off
the top of my head, I can think of a few ways. Again, you can use
Google. You can find books they've written. Ask other people if they
know someone. You can look in the Yellow Pages. You can spot them in
the newspaper. Many people are selling information on doing many of
the typical things someone might want to know how to do, in the same
way Harv Eker is teaching people how to make money.

How to get what you don't want
Now, let's talk about the other side of the coin. What happens when
you focus on what you don't want? Actually, the process works the
same way, except you end up getting what you don't want instead of
what you do want. Whatever you focus on, you mind takes it as an
instruction to create or attract it. And, as I said earlier, your
mind is very good at creating or attracting whatever you focus on.
If you focus on not being poor, for instance, your mind will get
busy figuring out how you can be poor. If you focus on not being
anxious, you're mind will figure out how to make you feel anxious.
If you focus on not making a mistake, you'll make mistakes.

As if it wasn't bad enough that you create it, the other big penalty
for focusing on what you don't want is that you get to feel bad. All
bad feelings—anger, anxiety, fear, confusion, panic, depression,
annoyance, shame, guilt, hopelessness, or anything else—come from
focusing on what you don't want. This is the flip side of feeling
good when you focus on what you want, especially if you're taking
action, and that action has value.

When you focus on what you don't want, or what you're worried about,
or what you're afraid of, or what you want to avoid, you put your
mind to work creating it, and you feel bad. Both of these penalties
obviously make focusing on what you don't want a bad idea. In fact,
focusing on what you don't want is poison to your life.

But how does focusing on what you don't want affect the second
principle, taking action? When you focus on what you don't want, one
of two things happens. You might, as a result, not take any action,
which is a kind of action, with its own results (or lack of
results). If you're afraid of making a mistake, you might avoid
acting, and the very failure to act is, in and of itself, a type of
mistake. When you don't act, you always know what will happen.

Or, you might, ironically, take an action, driven by your fear, that
creates the very thing you don't want. Not wanting to make a
mistake, you act in a way that creates mistakes. Not wanting to make
a bad investment, you figure out a way to become attracted to bad or
risky investments, or you fail to learn what you need to know to
make an good decision. Not wanting your business to fail, you are
led to take the very actions that do make it fail.

I see this all the time among my students. They focus on avoiding
something they're afraid of or worried about, and (almost) as if by
magic, they create it. The mind is ingenious in creating what you
focus on, and it doesn't care whether it's what you want or what you
don't want.

For this reason, it's crucial that you focus your mind consciously
and intentionally. Your mind is always focusing on something. As I
said earlier, it isn't that you can't manifest what you focus on,
it's that you're very likely choosing what to focus on
automatically, unconsciously. What you focus on is very often driven
by past events, childhood decisions and traumas, that cause you to
focus on what you don't want at least some of the time.

Attracting danger
Here's how it works. When you are traumatized during childhood (and
the trauma can be quite unintentional), you develop a belief that
the world is a dangerous place, or at least a potentially dangerous
place. In order to avoid this danger, you have to watch out for it.
To do that you have to focus your attention on it, and there you
are, giving your mind an instruction to create or attract the very
thing you don't want.

So The Secret is a wonderful thing. It works—especially if you add
the second and third principles I've shared with you. But it's like
electricity. You can light up a city with it, or electrocute
yourself. You can only use The Secret to get what you want to the
extent that you can consciously and intentionally direct your
attention. As long what you focus on is chosen without conscious
intention, you're going to find yourself attracting and creating, at
least some of the time, some things you don't want.

And some people are unfortunately attracting a lot of what they
don't want, a lot of the time.

But it doesn't have to be this way. You can develop the awareness
and the ability to use it to intentionally direct your focus. You
can turn off the autopilot. This is why Holosync is so powerful,
because it increases your ability to be aware, to live consciously
rather than automatically. As your awareness grows, you clearly see
how your focus creates what happens in your life, and as you watch
this happen it becomes more and more difficult to focus on what you
don't want, and much easier to focus on what you do want.

It's not an accident that so few people are truly successful.
Success, in whatever way you define it, flows directly from focusing
on what you want, and then, as a result, taking action that is of
value to the world. If you can't focus intentionally, though, this
process becomes very difficult.

You can't focus on what you've deleted
It also becomes easier to implement The Secret in your life if you
better understand the focusing process. In this discussion I've
treated focusing as a simple process, but it's actually a complex
cognitive process. There are many steps, and they whiz by very
quickly, mostly outside your awareness. For instance, you have
dozens of mental filters that delete much of what comes in through
your senses, then distorts (sometimes in a positive way, and
sometimes in a negative way) what is left.

Why does this matter? Well, you can't focus on what has been deleted
from your awareness. What if, for instance, you delete some—or even
all—of the possibilities? Many people do this. When they look
around, there are no possibilities! I correspond with people
everyday who tell me that they see no possibilities, yet the same
possibilities are actually available to them, as to anyone else. But
because they've filtered them out, they aren't there.

And this is just one of twenty-some filters people unconsciously use
before they ever get to the part of the process where they focus on

People filter out possibilities, solutions, ideas, resources, ideas,
kindnesses, love, what they could be grateful for, and all kinds of
things. Many people filter things in such a way that all they see
are problems and what is wrong. They have nothing left to focus on
but what they don't want! Can you see how it would be valuable if
you could consciously choose how to use these filters?

We unfortunately don't have room here to go through the entire
process by which you focus your mind. However, even if you know
nothing about this, other than to focus as much as possible on what
you want—and you're willing to take action and to do whatever you
can to make sure your actions are of value to others—you'll get
results that are head and shoulders above those achieved by other

However, I invite you to consider the possibility that you could
master this internal focusing process, by taking my online course,
The Internal Map of Reality Expander. Those who master this process
tap into a power that allows them to do or achieve anything they put
their mind to. There's no reason why you couldn't be one of them.

The Secret isn't a secret, and the Wish Fairy is a fraud
The Secret really isn't a secret. It's been around for thousands of
years, and many people have taught it in many different forms. The
only reason it can be referred to as a "secret" is that very few
people actually use it. It's been estimated that about 2% of people
actually embrace the three principles I've described and commit
themselves to using them consistently. Or, if they try to use the
first principle, they skip the second two and insist on wishing and
hoping and believing in magic, eternally waiting for the Wish Fairy
to give them what they want.

I'm hoping that you'll be one of those who embrace these principles
and actually use them. And I am here, along with my staff, to help
you use the tools we've created to become happy, peaceful, and
successful, and to create whatever you want in life.

Be well.
